The Heartsease Resident Association was founded in Novemember 2003 and was recognised by the Norwich City Council in January 2004. We currently have 9 Committee Members, who are trying to change and improve your community, for both young and old on the Heartsease Estate. We are always looking for new Committee Members, both young and old.

This Association Is Not Connected With Any Political Parties
Our Aims
· Reclaiming Our Streets from Fear, Intimidation & Harassment from all ages.
· PCSO’s (Police Community Support Officers) on the Heartsease.
· Warden’s on the Heartsease Estate, as we need more.
· Reducing Vandalism by encouraging community to complete nuisance logs and reporting issues/concerns to Police and Council. Making Poster’s of vandalism and placing them around the Estate.
· Up Keep & Rebuild of Parks & Green Areas
· Revamping the Kabin for the Youths they need a place to call their own. Supported by youth workers & HRA
· Traffic Calming on Heartsease Petition already being signed.
· Sign posts of 20mph on all entries of the Estate to reduce speed by children designs from the Heartsease Estate schools.
What we can do to help YOU?…
We are a recognised Association by the City Hall Council and can support and help with issue’s concerning the above. We can liaise with the Police, Warden’s and the Council and Green Space’s to ensure you have been heard.

- 2 Wardens patrolling the Heartsease from the 31st March 2006
- Our 2005 Campaign of 1651 signatures was a success.
- January 2007, Two further Wardens patrolling the Heartsease Estate.
- August 2007, Safer Neighbourhood Team asigned to Heartsease.
- HRA are Members of SNAP (Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel).

- A new £45.000 Play Area on Sale Road 2007.

- Supporting the A-Team Group Garden.
- On going, working relationship with City Council Green Spaces Team.

- 12 Winning Road Safety Designs by Children of the Heartsease Estate.
- On going, working relationship with Highways & Dept of Transport.
- On going, working relationship with the Heartsease Schools.
- Winning Poster Boards up on the six enterances to the Estate complete.
- November 2007, Heartsease High Engineering group Designed & Made Badges & Keyrings for Project.
- Sponsored by The Frying Machine Fish & Chip Shop.
- Sale Road football pitch will be ready by summer 2008.
- Goal Nets available through HRA.
