Decent Homes
CityCare will shortly be arriving in your area to carry out decent homes kitchen & bathroom upgrades on behalf of Norwich City Council.
As this is such a large estate we are splitting it into two phases.
The 1st phase will consist of approx 255 properties being upgraded between March – July 2008, this will then be followed up by phase 2 consisting of approx 116 properties between July – November 2008.
Please note: All residents who are having works carried out on the 1st phase have already been contacted, and all residents on the 2nd phase will be brochured within the next few months.
Throughout the duration of the upgrades there will be 2 CityCare Resident Liaison Officers, Kelly Chipperfield and Tracy Wright visiting the properties with works in progress. The purpose of this enables the residents to have a main point of contact. This ensures an efficient, and effective service is delivered, with them investigating and identifying any issues and dealing with them as quickly as possible to a satisfactory conclusion.
Our CityCare site set up will be located at the rear of the towers on the car park area by the sheds, it will consist of 6 containers and they will be there for the duration of the works.
Should you have any queries before we start the works please contact our CityCare Helpdesk who will be more than happy to assist.
Also:
- Window Replacement Programme-
The Asset Team at Housing Property Services who are based at Pilling Park Housing Office have informed us that it should be carried out between 2008/9/10. However, they did say this is subject to change.
- Refuse collection Sale Rd -
The Contracts Manager has confirmed that the reason they move the bins out early and come and collect them later is that certain areas are awkward to get to so this makes it easier for them. As for the early starts, as from October they start at 7 am not 6am so hopefully this shouldnt wake so many people!
